At 1530 on Wednesday 11 May 2016 Police Scotland called Moffat Mountain Rescue Team to assist with the evacuation of a lady who had fallen and hurt her ankle. The lady was part of a geology walk in the Dob’s Linn area when she went over on her ankle and sustained the injury.

The Scottish Ambulance Service and Police Scotland were already on scene as the team arrived and the agencies worked together to bring the lady in a mountain rescue stretcher to the roadside where she was transferred to an ambulance.
