At 1351 on 30 June 2021 the team were called by Police Scotland to assist in the rescue of a lady who had fallen and had a suspected broken ankle on Tinto Hill. 6 Team members along with 5 from the Strathclyde Police Scotland MRT made their way to the scene. 

A Scottish Ambulance Paramedic administered pain relief and the casualty was then transferred to the teams lighweight stretcher fitted with a wheel. She was then evacuated from the hill and handed over to the ambulance service for onward transport to hospital.
