Tonight some of the team visited the Dumfries and Galloway Council Emergency Centre, known as the “bunker”. The visit allowed the team to familiarise themselves and talk about the link the team can have with the centre during severe weather events.
The team was able to talk to the Police about the DGVOST system which helps to keep the public informed in a severe weather event.
